After 5 days in Denmark with a lot of good Danish food and a family-reunion, I am back in Holland and ready to continue all my projects that I have.
But first I want to show some of the fabrics that I found in Denmark.
They have this really great shop there with so many different kinds of fabrics. I am so lucky that there is one very close to my parents, and I go there every time I am there. It has been there for as long as I can remember. First under another name and now the last many years as ‘Stof og Stil’. I remember when I was younger and went there to find some fabric, it wasn’t very modern fabrics that they had. It was always leftovers from different companies.
But today it’s very different and I just don’t know where to look and what to buy or rather what not to buy, because they have so much great fabric. I could have use a fortune there (more than I already did) and I could find reasons to buy much more, but I am no millionaire and there is a limit for me unfortunately.
But do you know the feeling that when you are far away from home, and you see something you really like, and you know you can’t buy it at home. Something is happening inside of you. You argue and discus it with yourself and you just have to buy it, because you never know if you get that chance again? So all you Danish people!, maybe you don’t share my feelings about this shop, because you can go there more often, but I know that I can’t find fabrics like that here and not for same price and that makes it special for me and my customers here in Holland.
